Tomorrow, my sister and I are having a Cookies 'n' Cocoa party to watch the TV coverage of the Monument Lighting downtown (it's one of my 100 in 365). So of course, we've got some food to get ready! This is an easy riff on the pretzel bite recipe I blogged about this fall. You'll have the whole batch done in about 10 minutes. This easy snack gives you the taste of a pepperminty, chocolate dipped pretzel with none of the mess (or prep).
You'll need:
- a bag of Candy Cane Hershey's Kisses
- a bag of square pretzels
- aluminum foil or parchment paper
- cookie sheets
Once you've got those items gathered, follow the easiest directions ever:
And there you have it! Chill in the fridge or freezer for 10 minutes and store (or, more realistically, chow down).
John got a Christmas garland I picked up at Wally World today. There wasn't a cute story or tutorial to go along with it, so I thought I'd post a recipe instead! Tomorrow, there will be a brand-new post with all the trimmings! (Confession: tomorrow's ornament is my favorite!) Check back tomorrow for Jo, My Gosh!'s...
Awesome idea! Thanks for sharing it to our 12 Days of Christmas {Goodies} link-up! :)
ReplyDeleteOf course! I think your link-up is such a cool idea!
DeleteI just happen to have some of those Hershey Kisses in the house (because they are so very delicious). I'm going to go pick up some pretzels and try this. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by! I hope they turn out well for you! :)
DeleteOh. My. God. As soon as I saw the picture I turned into Homer Simpson. "Mmmm, chocolate covered pretzels." I think you've made my day.
ReplyDelete:-) I hope you're making them tonight! :-)
DeleteOh, oh, oooohhh wee! This look very good. I think I'll give this one a try. My daughter will think I'm the "best thing since sliced bread." Visiting from SITS today! Andrea @ bequoted.wordpress.com
ReplyDeleteI hope this earns brownie... er.... pretzel points with your daughter! :-)
DeleteThese look so yummy! I think I'll add these to my usual pretzel turtle neighbor gifts. What a yummy idea. Pinning.
ReplyDeleteI've been clicking through your site, and I love your ideas! I'd love it if you shared some of your ideas at One Creative Weekend on OneCreativeMommy.com. The party is open each week from Fri-Wed. I hope to see you there.
